Cultural Amalgamation Lab / 22-29/11 Loutraki,Greece
Our great team have participated in the Erasmus+ project funded by EU in Loutraki with the name Cultural Amalgamation Lab between 22-29 November 2021. Overall objective of the Project is to contribute to the development of international dialogue and good relations by making young people understand the importance of culture in international relations.
Our highly satisfied returning team wrote their gains, feelings and thoughts. You can read the text describing the feelings and thoughts of our team below:
Loutraki is a seaside resort on the Gulf of Corinth in Corinthia, Greece. It is located 81 kilometers (50 miles) west of Athens and 8 kilometers (5 miles) northeast of Corinth.7 countries, including Turkey, participated in the project. participating countries were Turkey, Greece, Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria, İtaly, Greece And England.
The beginning of the project started with the name learning game that we always liked very much.In my eyes, the most important beginning of Erasmus+ projects are always learning our names. The reason is simple but valuable. If we want to learn about another culture, we must first meet the people of that culture and the first start of meeting people starts with learning the names of the people. The project was really well thought out and planned.our sessions were really fun and we had an extremely warm family atmosphere during the project process.what we learned in the project in general: we learned cultural stereotypes, we learned national history, the role of history, traditional games of countries, information about our religions and holidays of the countries participating in the project. We learned what we learned not only with the facilitator but also individually or as a group. One of the sessions that I enjoyed the most was the drama about a historical event chosen by the countries. And of course the cultural nights were amazing. The place of the cultural night is always different in our eyes. To represent our country in the best way, to make a proud presentation about our country at the cultural night. It is an amazing feeling. There is one more thing we like about this project and we will never forget. We went on a trip together to Nafplio and Mycenae. In this way, we had the opportunity to get to know Greece a little more. It was good that we went on a trip, but going on this trip together as different nationalities made our pleasure increased. We had a lot of fun in nafplio. We made dance preparations before napflio trip. What do you think the word beautiful means? Let us answer you. The word beautiful is when a large number of people of different nationalities agree on the dance moves and dance harmoniously for an average of 2 minutes in the square of the city of nafplio, without a facilitator. that means this Erasmus+ project was definitely a successful one.It was a project that we personally will never forget. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the project.
